League Gives Bolden and Ramírez 9-Game Suspensions Friday, March 22nd, 2019 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Ballpark of Barrow College. Both the Commodores and Salukis were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Vanderbilt's Bobby Bolden and South Illinois's Francisco Ramírez were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Bolden and Ramírez for 9 games each. For the year Bolden is batting .286 with 1 home run. |
