League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, March 21st, 2019 Fernando Rosas of the LSU Tigers and Steve Elliott of the USC Trojans got into a wrestling match yesterday at South Paris College Grounds and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 7-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. Rosas is presently hitting at a .259 pace with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and has scored 11 times. This season Elliott has earned 1 saves, tossed 13.1 innings, made 11 relief appearances, fanned 14 hitters and posted an ERA of 4.73. Teams are hitting .216 against him. |
