Washington State Right Fielder Out
Monday, March 18th, 2019
After injuring himself, Cougars right fielder Wayne Campbell headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Campbell will miss at least 6-7 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
For the season, Campbell is hitting at a .308 clip with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 10 runs. He has 16 hits, 3 walks and a .373 on-base percentage.
