Patrick Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Sunday, March 17th, 2019 5 hits in 6 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Michael Patrick of the Auburn Tigers had a sensational game against Indiana State at Zodiac Ballpark. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 24-1 shellacking of the Sycamores. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Michael Patrick hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Patrick is batting .321 with 3 home runs and 19 RBIs this season. |
