Cowboys Pitching Ravaged by Allen Friday, April 27th, 2018 During a player's career, there are days that stand out and this day was definitely special! Roy Allen went 5 for 6 against the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Canaries Ballpark and the Seminoles picked up a 11-7 victory. "What a day!" he said. "We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" "He was patient up there today," the Florida State skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Allen has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes." Roy Allen singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Thus far this year Allen has hit .265 with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
