Gone Again! 3 HR for Alemán Sunday, March 25th, 2018 Today was a special one for Armando Alemán of the Rice Owls as he slammed three home runs in the 11-8 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Rice first baseman had quite a game at Toughkenamon College Fields as he collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs.
