Young and Rainaducci Suspended, Out 4 Games
Thursday, March 15th, 2018
When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Ohio State's Joe Young and Alabama's Cipriano Rainaducci were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office.

They both were suspended for 4 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Young charged Rainaducci.

Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation.

This season Young is batting .390 with 5 home runs.

Rainaducci has no saves in 5 relief appearances this season with a 1-0 record and 7.11 ERA.
