Fulton and Pierce Suspended 8 Games Sunday, May 20th, 2012 Henry Fulton of the Ole Miss Rebels and Jerry Pierce of the Washington State Cougars got into a wrestling match yesterday at Ballpark of Wrightsville College and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 8-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. Thus far this season Fulton has hit .268 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 15 times. His record this year is 4-4 in 11 starts and Pierce has a 4.21 ERA. |
