League Punishes Pair for Fighting Friday, April 14th, 2017 Thomas Davis of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Esteban Ramírez of the Virginia Cavaliers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended 10 games apiece by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Crimson Tide-Cavaliers game at Titans Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Davis and Ramírez will begin serving them soon. So far this year in 26 games Davis is hitting .325 with 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This season Ramírez has a 1-3 record with a 8.27 ERA. |
