Woodard Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 Artie Woodard cracked out all four legs of the cycle today at Surfers Ballpark, but Stanford still lost to the South Mississippi Golden Eagles by a final score of 13-10. In a sensational performance, Woodard had 4 hits in 5 tries with 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. Artie Woodard tripled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Harrison Caldwell in the 8th. Currently Woodard has 2 home runs and a .330 batting average. |
