Manager Ross History; Cougars Start Search Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 Today the Cougars made an announcement: The era of Jonathan Ross is over in Washington State. After a disappointing season, the club officials sat down with Ross to discuss their decision to make a change. "It wasn't a surprise to me." Ross said speaking with reporters. "As a team we did not perform up to people's expectations, nor to my expectations. When that happens, someone has to take the blame. This year, that person was me." In an official statement, the Cougars expressed gratitude for Ross's efforts, but confirmed the need to look for a different voice in the clubhouse. "We thank Jonathan for providing class, professionalism, experience and leadership during his tenure with the club, but believe we need to make this important change to our team's management." |
