Player of the Week Trophy to McGowan Monday, April 18th, 2016 Steve McGowan stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Skip Bertman League Player of the Week honors. The Kansas right fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 13 hits in 19 at-bats and 4 home runs. He put together a sizzling .684 batting average as he knocked in 15 runs and scored 7 times. This season McGowan has hit at a .438 clip with 23 RBIs, 7 home runs and 15 runs scored. He has played in 16 games. |
