Solís Smacks 5 Hits for Bulldogs Monday, April 4th, 2016 The Bulldogs whipped the Cougars 7-3 at Suns Ballpark and Juan Solís had a big hand in the win. The Bulldogs center fielder came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Solís and a tough day for Houston. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Solís delivered today -- 5-5 is outstanding in any league. Juan Solís singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Michael Hamilton in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Ed Wall in the 9th. |
