Gators Burton Fans 15 Bulldogs Monday, April 9th, 2012 Michael Burton of the Florida Gators really put on a pitching clinic today at Field of the Plunder as he struck out 15 Georgia Bulldogs in a 2-1 victory. Burton was simply magnificent as he held the Bulldogs to 1 hit and had 1 walk in the game. "My fastball was okay," Burton said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Burton's performance, the Gators manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today." |
