Rhodes Spins 15-K Game Sunday, May 17th, 2015 Curt Rhodes of the Iowa State Cyclones was something to behold at Forney College Grounds. He was on fire and fanned 15 Buckeyes en route to a 3-0 victory. Rhodes shackled Ohio State on 3 hits and gave up 2 walks in an outstanding performance. "That's as good as I've ever seen him throw," his manager said. "I've never seen so many bad swings in my life. These guys didn't have a chance." Rhodes had very little to say to after the game. "We won and that's the bottom line. I had a good game. And we beat Ohio State." The Ohio State manager wasn't too happy with the game. "He pitched a very good game. You have to tip your cap to him." This year Rhodes has posted a record of 7 wins and 1 loss with a 1.93 ERA. He has appeared in 10 games and struck out 86 in 60.2 innings. |
