The 21-year-old Kansas left fielder racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats today against them at Siege Ballpark and spearheaded the Jayhawks to a 13-1 victory. George Carlson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Carlson is hitting .254 so far this season with 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 32 hits including 1 home run, 8 walks and .299 OBP. |
