Lucas's Strong Week Earns RDL Trophy Monday, April 20th, 2015 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Alan Lucas was rewarded with the Rod Dedeaux League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Long Beach State 49'ers left fielder hit .476 while collecting 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. This season Lucas is batting .377 with 23 hits, 6 home runs, 19 RBIs, 11 walks, .472 OBP and has scored 14 runs. He has played in 18 games. |
