Dwayne Sparks Chosen AHL's Premier Hitter Wednesday, October 31st, 2012 Dwayne Sparks of the Bethesda Hornets had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger Award for 2012. The 25-year-old first baseman put up a .293 average and a .391 on-base percentage, piling up 183 hits, 33 doubles, 1 triple, 24 home runs, 119 RBIs and 104 runs scored. |
