Huntsville's Gill to Miss 12 Months Monday, September 24th, 2012 The Sabercats received bad news this morning. Ethan Gill will miss 12 months due to a damaged elbow ligament. In the Huntsville-Columbia game he sustained the injury while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Gill sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." To date this year Gill has compiled a 6-7 mark with a 4.02 ERA in 14 starts. |
