Buchanan 5-6 Against Vista Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 Houston catcher Donald Buchanan could do no wrong in today's 21-2 win over the Panthers as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Panthers said to the press corps after the game. Buchanan agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Donald Buchanan flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Buchanan is batting .230 with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 148 at-bats, 16 walks and a .301 OBP. Buchanan has played in 48 games. |
