Star of the Week Awarded in AHL Monday, September 16th, 2019 It was announced today that Houston third baseman Tsugahara Yamamoto had received the August Herrman League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .520 BA (13-25), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. Yamamoto is presently hitting at a .296 pace with 17 home runs and 107 RBIs. He has played in 142 games and scored 96 times. |
