Norberto Barrón Out 10-11 Months Sunday, September 15th, 2019 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Baltimore Blue Claws, Jedi Knights closer Norberto Barrón was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 10-11 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The New Orleans skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. Up to this point in the season, Barrón has made 32 relief appearances with 11 saves. Barrón has also recorded a 1-2 won-lost mark with a 3.33 ERA. In 27 innings he has fanned 25. |
