Hernández's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, September 9th, 2019 The New Orleans Jedi Knights stopped the Las Vegas Lost today 8-4 and Carlos Hernández was able to hit safely again. The New Orleans right fielder got 1 hit and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. Hernández was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Jedi Knights fans!" Carlos Hernández flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jayadev Ranjani in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Thus far this year Hernández has hit .438 with 3 home runs and 24 RBIs. |
