Hikaru Sekiguchi to Miss 4-5 Months Saturday, September 7th, 2019 Team doctors diagnosed Hikaru Sekiguchi with a torn rotator cuff and told the Baltimore Blue Claws reliever that he will miss 4-5 months. Sekiguchi was hurt throwing a pitch in a game against the Chippewa River Chiefs. This season Sekiguchi has chalked up a 4.32 ERA while ringing up 2 saves with 5 wins and no losses. He has made 12 relief appearances, pitching 16.2 innings, giving up 16 hits, and holding opponents to a .254 batting average. Sekiguchi has also recorded 28 strikeouts and allowed 7 walks. |
