League Gives Chikuda and Alston 8-Game Suspensions Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Baylor Ballpark have been suspended for 8 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Yodo Chikuda of the Sanford Stingrays and Steve Alston of the Palm Beach Bums. Looking at his stats this year, Chikuda has compiled a .218 batting average, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 47 runs. He has played in 102 games and scored 31 runs. This season Alston has 2 wins and 2 losses and a 4.33 ERA. |
