Bartlett 5-5 Against Hornets Monday, September 2nd, 2019 It was high-5 day at Hornets Field, at least for Jason Bartlett of the Albuquerque Human Beings. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Bethesda Hornets. Bartlett smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 6-4 win. His manager said, "Jason was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Jason Bartlett singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th. So far on the season Bartlett is hitting .241 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 57 hits and played in 62 games. |
