Gnats Mamgain Out of Action Saturday, August 31st, 2019 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against New Orleans Jedi Knights, Gnats reliever Anilkumar Mamgain was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 7 months with a torn rotator cuff. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Nichols skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. Mamgain has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 82 strikeouts and 39 walks in 75.2 innings while registering a 4.88 ERA and a 2-3 won-lost record. |
