5 Hits for Knights Luna Saturday, August 24th, 2019 It was a parade of hits for Guillermo Luna of the Kingwood Knights... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Nichols Gnats for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Knights to a 16-2 victory. "Luna was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Gnats manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Guillermo Luna walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Luna has hit 9 home runs and posted a .358 batting average. |
