Xiao-yan Zhang to Miss 11 Months Thursday, August 8th, 2019 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Road Warriors when after today's game against the Eagles, the club found out they would be without the services of Xiao-yan Zhang for at least 11 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Zhang was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a damaged elbow ligament. On the season Zhang has delivered 0 saves in 5 relief appearances. He has 16 strikeouts in 10 innings with a 4.50 ERA and a 0-0 mark. |
