Ibarra Snags BOL Batting Honor in July Thursday, August 1st, 2019 When José Ibarra stepped up to the plate in July, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Buck O'Neil League Batter of the Month award. The young Chippewa first baseman posted a .400 batting average with 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and scored 26 runs. Ibarra also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .455 on-base percentage. In the 2019 season Ibarra is hitting .315 with 26 home runs. |
