Cassidy Snares AHL Top Batter Award in July Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Tom Cassidy is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Bethesda left fielder joined that select company when the August Herrman League announced the results of July's voting. Cassidy totaled 37 hits, 10 walks, 7 home runs, 29 RBIs and 21 runs scored last month to put together a .370 batting average and .429 on-base percentage. Thus far this year Cassidy has hit .278 with 11 home runs and 69 RBIs. |
