Star of the Week Named in AHL Monday, July 29th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Tsugahara Yamamoto of the Houston Sting reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Yamamoto rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-24), 1 home run and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Yamamoto has hit 8 home runs and posted a .273 batting average. |
