Jedi Knights Meshizuka Suffers Injury Sunday, July 28th, 2019 New Orleans fans held their breath as Shintaro Meshizuka left yesterday's Lost-Jedi Knights contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 19-year-old starting pitcher had suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 5 months. This year Meshizuka has fashioned a 3-5 mark, 6.39 ERA and pitched 81.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .315 against him and he has logged 72 strikeouts. |
