Sugahara Bags AHL Best Player Award Monday, July 15th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Shiro Sugahara of the Bel Air Princes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sugahara rocked opposing pitching for a .556 average (10-18), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season Sugahara has hit .357 with 3 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 87 games and scored 51 times. |
