Victoria Starting Pitcher Out Thursday, July 11th, 2019 "I'm frustrated right now," said Victoria starting pitcher Luis Rico. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Vikings, that's where he will be spending 11 months. Rico suffered a torn rotator cuff in today's game against Baltimore while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." So far this season, Rico has logged a 2-2 record with a 6.18 ERA. He has started 5 games, hurled 27.2 innings and registered 25 strikeouts and 10 walks. |
