MR Mito Kiyomizu Hurt Monday, July 1st, 2019 The Seals received bad news this morning. Mito Kiyomizu will miss 7 months due to shoulder inflammation. He sustained the injury in the Beach City-Vista game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Kiyomizu sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." For the year Kiyomizu has collected 2 saves in 13 relief appearances. He has also notched 101 strikeouts and 28 walks in 79 innings while registering a 3.42 ERA and a 9-1 won-lost record. |
