June's Premier Batter Announced Monday, July 1st, 2019 For a rookie just breaking in, Arturo Torres certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the BOL Batter of the Month award for June. The 24-year-old center fielder for the Chippewa River Chiefs hit .422 with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 29 runs scored. This season Torres is batting .386 with 123 hits, 4 home runs, 54 RBIs, .469 OBP and has scored 69 runs. |
