González Batters Whitewater Big Time Friday, June 28th, 2019 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jesús González. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. González went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Whitewater pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at The Aerie, he had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Bel Air Princes had a 11-1 victory over the Eagles. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Jesús González hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. González is batting .256 with 6 home runs and 43 RBIs this season. |
