Martínez and Ramírez Fight, Suspended 2 Games Monday, June 17th, 2019 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at The Reservation between the River Chiefs and Mustangs that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Raúl Martínez of Chippewa and Fernando Ramírez of San Angelo were issued 2-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. This year Martínez has hit 5 home runs and posted a .331 batting average. On his stats sheet for the year Ramírez shows a 4-7 record, 16 starts, 87.2 innings, 92 strikeouts and a 5.13 ERA. |
