Vedant Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, June 13th, 2019 No matter what the Albuquerque Human Beings threw at him today, Vihaan Vedant hit it. He easily handled Human Beings pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Road Warriors to a 6-5 triumph at Road Warriors Field. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Albuquerque skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Vihaan Vedant singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th, singled in the 9th and tripled in the 11th. Thus far this season Vedant has hit .306 with 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 43 times. |
