Sanford Starting Pitcher Out Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 The Stingrays received bad news this morning. Luis Martínez will miss 7-8 months due to a torn rotator cuff. He sustained the injury in the Sanford-Whitewater game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Martínez sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." |
