5-Hit Barrage by O'Farrell Friday, May 31st, 2019 Steve O'Farrell really sizzled at the plate in today's 13-3 win over Vikings. The Beach City left fielder blistered Victoria for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "O'Farrell was too tough to get out today," the Vikings skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Steve O'Farrell singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kunimichi Samurakami in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season O'Farrell has produced 65 hits in 214 at-bats for a .304 average with 7 home runs and gotten on base at a .393 clip. |
