Noro 5-5 for Princes
Thursday, May 23rd, 2019
After the Bel Air 6-5 loss to Vista and his 5-hit day second baseman Toshinobu Noro told reporters, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school, or college ball. Two hits in a game is very good, three or four hits even better, five or more are out of sight ... and if it is in pro ball, it is really something special. It will get you in the record books, but you won't necessarily win the ballgame."

The 19-year-old player got into the record book today with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Vista Panthers.

The skipper of the Princes spoke glowingly of Noro, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Toshinobu did that to perfection today. I just wish some more of our players swung the bat as good as him. We might have won the game."

Toshinobu Noro singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

In 34 games Noro is hitting .322 this season with 46 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs, 11 walks, .370 OBP and has scored 24 runs.
