Cherry Hill Loses Jeffrey Bath Saturday, May 18th, 2019 It took the Cherry Hill team doctor a while to realize it, but third baseman Jeffrey Bath won't simply play through torn ankle ligaments after he got hurt running the bases in today's Bums-Stealers game. At first, it looked like Bath might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 5 months. Presently Bath is batting .358 and has collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, .442 OBP and scored 10 runs. |
