New Orleans's Mar to Miss 5 Months Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 Disappointing news today for New Orleans Jedi Knights fans. Ming-an Mar was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Barrow Frosties and has shoulder inflammation. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the reliever out at least 5 months. To date in the season, Mar is 0-0 with 14 relief appearances and 1 save. He has held opposing batters to a .213 average, pitched 21.2 innings, struck out 22 and walked 10 while recording a 3.74 ERA. |
