April's Starter of the Month Goes to Barrera Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 In April, Félix Barrera tore through the Buck O'Neil League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Las Vegas starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 3.15 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 40 innings he collected 37 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .257 average. |
