Player of the Week: Takahashi of the Human Beings Monday, April 29th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Kawanari Takahashi of the Albuquerque Human Beings reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Takahashi rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (11-22), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season, Takahashi has recorded a .297 batting average with 27 hits, 4 home runs, 23 RBIs, 21 runs scored and a .418 OBP. |
