Aoki Gets 5 Hits Friday, April 26th, 2019 Kiyoemon Aoki had an answer for everything the Barrow Frosties threw him today in the Baltimore 12-1 triumph at The Blizzard Bowl. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Baltimore right fielder went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Aoki said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Kiyoemon Aoki singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. In 18 games this season Aoki is batting .419 with 26 hits and no home runs. He has scored 7 runs and driven in 10. |
