5 Hits for Princes Williams Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 No matter what the Westside Road Warriors threw at him today, Jeff Williams hit it. He easily handled Road Warriors pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Princes to a 8-2 triumph at Philip Banks Field. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Westside skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Jeff Williams singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. |
