20-Game Hitting Streak for Stephens Saturday, September 29th, 2018 Anthony Stephens's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Kingwood left fielder smacked 2 hits against Victoria in today's game at Stable Park to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Victoria Vikings, Stephens told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Anthony Stephens struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Stephens has batted at a .347 pace with 61 hits, 1 home run, 33 RBIs and scored 36 times. |
